Judgment

The Clinging. Perseverance furthers. It brings success. Care of the cow brings good fortune.

That which is bright rises twice: the image of Fire. The great person, by perpetuating this brightness, illumines the four quarters of the world.

Interpretation

Hexagram 30 speaks of clarity, illumination, and the nature of attachment. Fire needs fuel to burn — consciousness needs something to illuminate. This hexagram advises cultivating inner clarity while remaining aware that all things we cling to are impermanent.
