The Wanderer. Success through smallness. Perseverance brings good fortune to the wanderer.

Interpretation

Hexagram 56 speaks of the condition of the traveler — someone without a permanent home or fixed position. In such transient circumstances, one must act with modesty, caution, and courtesy. Small, careful steps are more appropriate than grand gestures.
