Coming to Meet. The maiden is powerful. One should not marry such a maiden.

Under heaven, wind: the image of Coming to Meet. The prince acts by spreading his commands abroad and proclaiming them to the four quarters of heaven.

Interpretation

Hexagram 44 warns of unexpected encounters with seemingly insignificant forces that can grow to dominate. Like a gentle wind that can become a storm, one must be alert to small influences that may carry hidden power.
