Fellowship with Men in the open. Success. It furthers one to cross the great water.

Heaven together with fire: the image of Fellowship. The superior person organizes the clans and makes distinctions between things.

Interpretation

Hexagram 13 speaks of true fellowship built on shared ideals rather than private interests. Like fire rising toward heaven, genuine community is open, transparent, and united by common purpose. Great undertakings become possible through authentic cooperation.
