Judgment

Enthusiasm. It furthers one to install helpers and to set armies marching.

Thunder comes resounding out of the earth: the image of Enthusiasm. The ancient kings made music to honor merit.

Interpretation

Hexagram 16 represents the power of enthusiasm and inspired action. Like thunder bursting from the earth, it symbolizes the energy that moves people to action. This force must be channeled wisely — enthusiasm without direction leads to excess.
