Judgment

Deliverance. The southwest furthers. If there is no longer anything to which one must go, return brings good fortune.

Interpretation

Hexagram 40 marks the release of tension after a period of difficulty. Like a thunderstorm clearing the air, deliverance brings relief and a fresh start. This is a time for forgiveness, returning to normalcy, and not dwelling on past troubles.
