Judgment

The Gentle. Success through what is small. It furthers one to have somewhere to go. It furthers one to see the great person.

Winds following one upon the other: the image of the Gently Penetrating. The superior person spreads his commands abroad and carries out his undertakings.

Interpretation

Hexagram 57 represents the power of gentle, persistent penetration. Like the wind that gradually permeates everything, subtle and consistent influence achieves what force cannot. Having a clear goal and gentle persistence brings success.
