Judgment

The Abysmal repeated. If you are sincere, you have success in your heart, and whatever you do succeeds.

Water flows on and reaches the goal: the image of the Abysmal repeated. The superior person walks in lasting virtue and carries on the business of teaching.

Interpretation

Hexagram 29 represents danger upon danger — a deep abyss that must be navigated with sincerity and courage. Like water that finds its way through the deepest gorges by simply following its nature, one must remain true to oneself when surrounded by peril.
