Judgment

The Family. The perseverance of the woman furthers.

Wind comes forth from fire: the image of the Family. The superior person has substance in his words and duration in his way of life.

Interpretation

Hexagram 37 speaks of the foundation of all social order: the family. Like wind born from fire, influence radiates outward from the home. When each person fulfills their role with sincerity and devotion, harmony naturally extends to the wider world.
